NEW ENGLAND SINAI HOSPITAL HONORS LONG TIME EMPLOYEES
STOUGHTON, MA —New England Sinai President and CEO Lester P. Schindel has awarded 109 long time employees the prestigious Sinai Service Award in recognition for their years of service from 5 to 30 years. Of those honored, 9 awards were given to 30-year career employees who have been with Sinai since the opening of the Stoughton Campus in 1976. All were honored at a special dinner event on June 18, 2007 at Lombardo’s in Randolph.
“Sinai is very fortunate to have such loyal and dedicated employees, especially in a day and age when high turn over is commonplace. We are honored that these committed professionals have chosen to make Sinai their long-term career choice. They deserve the credit for our reputation for exceptional and compassionate care,” said Schindel in remarks preceding the awards ceremony.
Among the employees receiving awards, many attributed their long tenure at Sinai to an atmosphere of respect for employees at all levels, and Sinai’s dedication to expanding programs and services. They also expressed satisfaction with Sinai’s culture, which has remained open to new people and ideas while steadily encouraging all employees to take advantage of professional development opportunities. Nearly all agreed that they enjoyed the people they worked with and felt they were part of a family environment.
