SINAI'S MEN'S ASSOCIATES SPEAKER SERIES PRESENTS WRKO'S PAT WHITLEY ON
"RESTAURANT TALK FROM PIZZA TO GOURMET"
STOUGHTON, MA — Pat Whitley, host of “The Pat Whitley Show” on WRKO Radio, will be the featured speaker at a dinner program presented by the New England Sinai Hospital Men’s Associates Speaker Series on Thursday, October 25, 2007 at 6pm. A full Chinese Buffet dinner will be provided. Tickets are $15 and the program is open to residents of Stoughton and nearby communities. Pat Whitley has had a long and illustrious career in New England and the national media spotlight. “The Pat Whitley Restaurant Show” made its debut in 1976 and has been a “Sunday Morning Ritual” in New England for more than three decades. Listeners trust and listen to Whitley and enjoy visiting his website at www.nedine.com. In addition to owning and presiding over Whit’s Media since 1986, Whitley also co-hosted one of Boston’s top rated morning shows, “Clapprood & Whitley,” on WRKO and WHDH. He was substitute host for the Larry King Show on the Mutual Radio Network, and in the 1970s Whitley was Program Director of WNBC in New York. During that time he was named “National Program Director of the Year” and was responsible for hiring national radio personalities Don Imus and Wolfman Jack.
On Sunday, November 4, 2007, the Sinai Men’s Associates Speaker Series continues with a breakfast talk and “A Visit to Planet Mikey,” with speaker Mike Adams, host of Planet Mikey on WEEI Radio. Guests will enjoy a full breakfast at the event, which begins at 10 am. Tickets are $12 and the program is open to residents of Stoughton and nearby communities. The Sinai Men's Associates was founded by a group of men interested in providing volunteer and financial support to the hospital and its patients. Members serve as ambassadors to the community, and are involved in a variety of fund raising activities and the sponsorship of patient/family programs.
