Pulmonary Technology

Pulmonary Technology

Sinai has 70 Vela Lifesupport ventilators. Lighter, more mobile and with an extended battery backup, they are the next generation in computerized ventilators. The Vela has incorporated state-of-the art technology into this top of the line model with on screen touch operations. The most extraordinary features are the recording and data storage capability, which include a graphic analysis of each breath depicting what has occurred over a 24-hour period. This minute by minute information will improve the way patients are ventilated and weaned.
